At the outset I am beholden to my students, industrious faculty, non teaching staff, and all those who played a part, be it in any capacity, in the growth and development of GDC Surankote through their hard work and diligence since its very inception in the year 2011 till date. Additionally, I am extremely grateful to the former Principals of this prestigious institution situated in the lap of the Himalayas for their efforts and contributions that brought this institution, albeit situated in a rural region, its recognition across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. As the Principal of this institution of higher learning, my primary focus would be ensuring every department’s success through hard work and dedication. I will be committed to supporting the academic and personal growth of all students and recognizing the unique challenges they face. I would like to mention here that I will see to it that the girl students are in no way discriminated against and all the support needed by them is provided to them to ensure that they get an even playing field.
I firmly believe that by fostering positive relationships with all students, we can create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and development.
My mission is to create, cultivate and practice a democratic and transformational leadership style in our institution to promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and excellence, where every student and staff member feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential. I will not be lacking in my efforts to take this institution forward in a manner that it reaches its full potential and stature.
